Yes, the Big Boys arrived safe and sound! Within minutes both Simba and Rocky were running around, up to their old antics.... Rocky jumping on every piece of furniture, knocking everything off the shelves, and Simba alternating between getting belly rubs at my feet and eating from his food bowl!! Most important, it seemed that both cats recognized me right away and never want to leave my side. I have had 2 permanent (and large) shadows at my feet all weekend!
Both cats looked AMAZING! It was obvious that they were extremely well cared for these past several weeks. Their coats gleamed, as if they were brushed every day while at Just Cats. And they both seemed to adjust quickly to their new environment, as within minutes, they both used the litter box, ate some food and drank water, which surprised me. Neither cat has vomited, had dry/flaky skin, gone into hiding, or done other behaviour linked to stress or being frightened.
Everything about Starwood Pet was not only fantastic, but was the best part of my relocation experience. Everyone I dealt with from your company was super-friendly, extremely knowledgeable and in constant communication with me, even to update me on the slightest of details, throughout an entire month of separation from my cats. It is obvious that your staff love pets and love their jobs, as their enthusiasm shines through with every step of the process. Thank you SO much for making this move to London as smooth and stress-free as possible for both me and my cats!! Starwood Pet will without a doubt be the very first company I book as part of my move back to the U.S.!

My apologies for not getting in touch with you sooner. My communications problems continue to follow me - no phone or internet.
Thank you for taking such great care of my Boy - Bill arrived safely on Tuesday and was delivered to me by 1 p.m. I must say that Tuesday morning (Aug 9) was very difficult for me - handling Bill over was very hard to do. My worries and fears were for naught as he arrived and quickly settled into our temporary flat. After exploring his new surroundings, he was demanding his food and water.
Please send my thanks and appreciation to Just Cats. It would appear that they provided excellent care of Bill. I am surprised by their comments that he is shy. He normally is very vocal, but then again he is not used to being on his own.
Thank you again for helping us and especially Bill through this difficult time. Tuesday was a great day and now we are all together again in our new home in London. We will definitely be contacting you in a couple of years when we return to Canada.

Yesterday was wonderful and we all slept very well under one roof again.
The service and communication was the best I ever had and moving the pets was this time the easiest thing, because I knew they were taken good care of.
The cats came home a little bit thinner but I think that the kennel was very good, because I did not get them back nervous or scared. They also send emails about the cats or any concern which was a big relieve.
My friend spoiled my dog rotten, so I got her back in very good shape. Collin the driver was a wonderful animal lover and really took good care during transport. Please will you thank him again.
Next time I will definitely contact you again if there are pets involved with a move.
I think England is a very nice country and we all already like living here!

Terribly sorry for the late reply, but things have been quite hectic around here as usual, and I'm just getting around to opening my email.
I have absolutely nothing but praise for you and your team in helping me through the rigorous process of getting Gretel here. I don't think I could have done it without your guidance and assurance in the system. I think my only complaint is where to store her carrier!
We've a small flat here so storage space is at a premium.
Gretel is settling in just fine. I took her to a vet to have her ears checked, and he said she looked great and saw no need for furthering the ear drop medicine. Other than that, she's having a rough time taking long walks on rough pavement as she was used to running in grass all the time back home. This morning I took her to Hyde Park, and she seems to be doing better with it, but on occasion I have to carry her home (no too bad considering her small size).
Again, I thank you all for your help, and there's no questioning who we would turn to in the future for Gretel's travels.

Kiva is doing great! She did not get to our house until 12 hours after arriving at Heathrow, and was a little apprehensive at first, but settled down by the next morning. When I arrived home from work Thursday, she was at the door to greet me just like she did in Hong Kong.
The help your team provided was excellent. I cannot think of anything that could have been done better. You made this very difficult process stress free and very comfortable for us.

Re feedback, please feel free to use me as a reference! It was extremely stressful to me to put Brandy on a plane for a trans-Atlantic flight -- you were really able to reassure me by explaining the process, etc. Also, it's great that you have people like Francia -- my mother told me that Brandy "bonded" with her immediately, so was not nervous in leaving with her. You were always very responsive in answering my emails and phone calls, and in addressing all of my questions.
The only "glitch" was that a driver was not available to bring Brandy from LHR to my home at the later time of 6:30pm. However, I recognize that this time change was requested by me somewhat at the last minute, and importantly it worked out in the end (she arrived around 5pm and my assistant was able to meet her.)
Finally the "door to door" service (from my parents' home in NJ to my home in London) was fantastic. I could not have managed the logistics from the UK.
Brandy is doing very well in her new home!

Just to let you know....I picked Harley up this morning, after 5 months in quarantine. He is really pleased to be home, I can tell you. We're glad to have him home too, apart from all the hair and shedding again! It was nice to be pet hair free for a while! LOL!

I am sorry I am coming back so late to you but our internet connection was down all week and it still does not seem to work very well.

I am sorry I could not chat very long on Sunday with the crying baby in my arms, as I really wanted to hear how the trip went, when you left Munich and what happened at Calais with the authorities. I assume all went very smoothly as you managed to be so early in London but if you have a few minutes, I would be very grateful if you could tell me a bit more about the travel. I hope you had a good trip home as well.
Hudson is settling in quite well, although he certainly misses his doggy friends. Although I am home and we are going out for walks, it is not the same as running around and playing with other dogs. Anyway he is fine and has not shown any sign of aggression towards Lena. This might come later when she starts moving around but by that time he will be use to her and might as well have accepted her. We will see! Lena is not interested at all, but apart from feeding she is not interested in many things anyway.
We are very pleased to have Hudson back and this is very sad we will not bring Sheila over here. I believe Heinz did mention to you that we had to sell her and therefore she will stay in Germany.
We unfortunately do not know much people moving countries with animals in their suitcases but should we do so, we would certainly recommend your company.

We indeed had a family reunion and so far Hudson has not given more attention to Lena than a few sniffs. He has however demonstrated some jealousy at times when the baby get attention that he want to receive. We will be fine and he will lean to accept Lena.

Ross at Starwood recently helped us relocate our cat from Hong Kong to the UK. Fortunately for us part way through the process Hong Kong was added to the 'Pet Passport' scheme which meant that she would not have to do quarantine. Ross was quick to make the necessary arrangements. Tazzers arrived safe and well and has settled in to her new home.
I have nothing but praise for the way that Ross treated us as pet owners. Always coming back to us in a timely manner, answering our queries and reassuring us that it would be smooth. For my part I was particularly impressed with the way that Ross spoke about Tazzers as if she was a human, and part of the family. It reassured us that he was on our wavelength.
For other people choosing a partner for transporting their pet - I would recommend Starwood. From a service point of view its well worth it. I would also recommend listening to his advice, particularly on which airline, which airports, and small things like 'pack after the pet has left'. Packing stresses them out and it breaks my heart that some people's cats disappeared mid-packing and never returned.
Tazzers may be a rescue cat from the streets of Hong Kong, a feral-looking manky cat with big ears, but she is special to us, and she seems to be loving it here in the UK - I swear she is purring more than she ever was in her home town.

Now that Lou is home and the process is complete, allow me to provide you with my comments regarding your service. From my perspective, this was a new experience as Lou is our first family pet, indeed I never though I would care for a pet the way we have learned to, and having to be apart including the entire journey at the beginning of the process was very difficult, even stressing. Yet your service was instrumental in managing that stress and actually taking it away. To me good service is about providing peace of mind, that is what Starwood Pet Transport did for us, by managing the process and keeping a very up-to-date communication process in place we always knew and felt things were being taken care of correctly. I would definitely recommend your services and use them again in the future.

Just a quick e-mail to let you know Scruffy has been with us a week & is settling into the Surrey countryside very well. One small hitch, however, is that she has developed Kennel Cough, which is being treated by one of the local vets. I'm not sure whether she picked it up en-route or since she arrived, but she may have been in contact with other dogs on the flight, so it might be something you get some feedback on. Other than that we have been extremely happy with the service provided, at both end of Scruffy's journey, so would be happy to recommend your company to anyone who is considering relocating their pets.

We were so pleased with the service we received. Everything was really well planned and organized. Our dog is our 'baby' and we felt he was in the best of hands with you - that you understood his worth to us and treated him as preciously as you would if he were your own. Howie has adjusted well to his new home, loves his big yard to play in, and has found a good neighbour in a miniature Schnauzer just over the fence.
